5'6"x20 1/4"x2 1/4" Performance Fish

This template was developed in Morocco and is one of my all time favorite performance fish outlines. The outline features a moderately wide nose, a forward wide point and a slight hip that pulls into a tighter swallow tail. It has been adapted a bit for the waves encountered in the Outer Banks with a slightly more thinned out tail for control in steeper faces. 

A concave deck gets your feet closer to the water without too much reduction in volume. The bottom is a double concave inside of a belly vee that flattens a bit mid board and then reaccelerates out the tail, giving the board a somewhat aggressive rail line rocker, while flattening out the stringer line rocker. Paired with the deep double concaves, this board is incredible fast and responsive on rail.

Glassed in a 4oz Outer Banks nautical chart fiber lam plus 6oz S cloth on the deck and 4oz S cloth plus a 4oz S fin patch on the bottom. Made using US blanks with an applecore stringer for a bit more break resistance and Lati wood plug reinforcements.
